Chris Erickson, Ph.D., has directed the clinical services of community counseling clinics for more than 10 years and conducts research on mental health services. Her interests include improved services for persons with serious mental illness and increased public awareness of the distinctions between mental health and mental illness. She has held appointments at California State University Fresno and Temple University and is currently Associate Professor and Co-Director of the Community Counseling Program at George Washington University. She has a Ph.D. in counseling psychology and a masters degree in counseling from Arizona State University. (Updated 09.01.04)
