Biography
"Dr. Sharron Crowder is a Clinical Associate Professor at Indiana University School of Nursing. She is also the Special Assistant to the Dean for Health Policy Initiatives. Her teaching expertise is in health policy and advocacy as well as leadership. She is known for her development of innovative models to empower nursing students, faculty, and healthcare providers in clinical practice for health policy and advocacy roles.
Dr. Crowder was a 2019-2020 Robert Wood Johnson Health Policy Fellow. Her fellowship placement was with the U.S. House of Representatives, Committee on Education and Labor, Congressman Bobby Scott, Chair.
Dr. Crowder uses her leadership in serving on committees of national and international organizations. As a result of her health policy expertise, she is frequently an invited speaker for conferences and consultant for academic institutions.
