Biography
Samuel Stebbins, MD, MPH is Medical Director of Peace Corps' Office of Medical Services. He is a physician epidemiologist
with a background in primary care, public health, academia, public policy, educational systems, and disaster preparedness and
response. In 2019 he completed a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Fellowship on Capitol Hill, working in the
United States Senate with a focus on the health and well-being of children and families. He graduated from Yale University with
an undergraduate degree in molecular biophysics and biochemistry, received a combined MD/MPH degree from Tufts University
School of Medicine, and completed residencies in family medicine and public health/preventive medicine at Oregon Health and
Science University.
