Biography
Dr. Marion completed his medical degree at the New York University School of Medicine. His clinical training was completed at Bellevue General Hospital and the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine at NYU. He is triple-board certified in physical medicine & rehabilitation, electro-diagnostic medicine and pain medicine. While completing his residency training, Dr. Marion simultaneously obtained a Masters’ degree in Finance and Health Policy at the Wagner School of Public Service at New York University.
Dr. Marion began his medical career as an Attending physician at the National Rehabilitation Hospital and during that time completed the Masters of Public Health degree program at The George Washington University. While at the NRH, Dr. Marion was the Medical Director Outpatient Services and simultaneously the Administrative Director of Outpatient Services. Dr. Marion spent a year as a Robert Wood Johnson Health Policy Fellows program 1994-95.
Dr. Marion is Clinical Professor of Medicine and Neurology at the George Washington University Medical Center. He established the Rehabilitation Medicine Unit and served as its Medical Director. Dr. Marion is currently Medical Director of the Polytrauma Amputee Network Site at the DC VA Medical Center. In addition to his triple board certifications described earlier, Dr. Marion is also a board certified Independent Medical Examiner as well as a Board Certified Life Care Planner.
