Biography

Kristen Dillon, MD, FAAFP, is a family physician with extensive experience in rural primary care, Oregon's Medicaid model, and organizational development and leadership. After completing her fellowship year in the Speaker's Office, Kristen helped lead the COVID vaccine rollout for the State of Oregon. Following that, she served as a consultant to public and nonprofit organizations, focusing on public health strategy and reproductive justice programs. In her current role as the CMO for the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy, she advises across the agencies within the Department of Health and Human Services on the rural health aspects of policy and programs. She also leads the Office’s work on rural maternal health and health care quality.
