Biography
Anne Ekedahl (De Biasi), MHA is a health policy consultant, leveraging skills honed over 30 years in health care, community health, public health and health policy. She is also Senior Fellow, Policy at WE in the World and a Reframing Aging Facilitator.
For 7 years Anne was Director of Policy Development at the Trust for America’s Health, leading the strategy for incorporating prevention and public health into the reforming health system.
Anne also served in policy director positions at Nemours and the Children’s Dental Health Project. She was President/CEO of the Oak Orchard Community Health Center and a Robert Wood Johnson Health Policy Fellow, working as health care staff for the U.S. Senate Majority Leader.
Anne serves on the Brookings Institution Child and Adult Mental Health Working Group and the Institute for Medicaid Innovation National Advisory Board. She is a member of the Steering Committee for Facing Racism in Jacksonville, FL and a member of the Grants Leadership Team for the Women’s Giving Alliance of Northeast Florida.
Anne graduated Phi Beta Kappa at University of Virginia and received an MHA from Medical College of Virginia. Anne is Leadership Rochester graduate and received a “40 under 40 Award” from the Rochester Business Journal.
